Job Title: Temporary Office Manager / Estate Agent

Job Location: Central London

Job Duration: Full time, Temporary

Job Days & Timings: Mon to Fri, 5 days & 40 hours a week

Job Started: As soon as possible

Salary: £10 to £11.50 per hour


Job Summary

Temporary Estate Agent / Office Manager  

This position is for a well-known estate agency Old street, central London area.

An Ideal candidate must have experience in Property Management and fully able to provide outstanding customer service to clients and tenants on a temporary basis. A temporary office manager use problem solving skills and initiative to ensure the sound maintenance of our property portfolio and administrative accuracy of our tenancies.

Working hours are 9am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (Hour for Lunch)Starting Immediately

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Answering phone, email and face to face queries relating to tenancies and liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues.
  2. Dealing with day to day matters arising such as; repair requests, furnishing etc.
  3. Processing tenancies from agreed offer stage; including generating Tenancy Agreements, arrange for Tenancy Deposit Registration, booking inventories and key management.
  4. Accurate data entry of property and tenancy details onto our Operating System
  5. Ensuring all maintenance works are carried out effectively, in good time and to a reasonable budget. Undertaking or managing regular property inspections.
  6. Administering renewal agreements and tenancy deposit settlements.
  7. Monitor the performance of contractors to ensure they comply with the contractual arrangements in place.* Ensure Gas Safety Inspections are done regularly
  8. Other ad hoc duties as required including general customer service and office administration.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualities required:
  • Excellent English speaking skills and Grammar
  • Enthusiasm to learn and excellent problem solving and mediation skills

Necessary Skills/ Experience:

  • A strong administrative background with proven organisation skills is essential.
  • Knowledge of the property industry or experience with property management would be a plus Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office’s Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Confidence with information systems/ databases is crucial.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30wpm and Jupix experience a big plus
